I had a pre-interview because the district manager was unable to make it. It was very casual conversation about position and expectations. Questions about myself and background and why I was interested in the Fastenal company.

Interview
No effort at all. On the phone things were great and I was hopeful. In person, he could see I was female and his demeanor changed completely. It was obvious he was asking "BS" questions to just get the interview over with.
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fastenal (Bensalem, PA) in May 2017
Interview
Went to career fair and applied online. Did an easy phone interview with 2 separate interviews with branch manager and district manager. Regular STAR questions and personality questions. Asked about previous experience and what I WOULD BRING TO THE TABLE.
