I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fast Enterprises (Denver, CO) in Aug 2023
Interview
Similar to other experiences here. Recruiter reached out to me, ~30 minute initial screen with the recruiter. Simple general OOP trivia and some soft skill questions. After that, ~2 hour ZOOM call with a current Implementation Consultant with a lot of soft skill questions, a couple logic puzzles, and 1 or 2 simple coding questions. When you show up to the ~2 hour interview they give you a ~30 question wonderlic/mensa test that I think heavily factors into a job offer. I know I did somewhat poorly on this as word scrambles are not my thing and I haven't really done quick thinking SAT-style questions in a long time. The questions aren't too difficult, but they can be practiced for, and you should definitely focus on this over other parts for the interview. Practice word scrambles, practice simple quick math, and spatial pattern questions. If you refresh a bit and take a few beforehand you should be fine and in the groove for these type of tests. Ultimately, I did not receive a job offer which saddened me. Was really interested in the job and hit it off very well with both the recruiter and the implementation consultant, had good vibes the entire way. But knew after I took that 30 question wonderlic that I was probably in trouble -- these type of companies that hire fresh grads en masse tend to care less about specific knowledge and more about quick problem-solving capabilities, which means they put heavy weight into these tests (valid or not).
