I applied online. I interviewed at Farmfoods in Jun 2025
Interview
Applied online through Indeed. Application process included questions from Farmfoods their selves. A few days later had an email from Farmfoods saying that I had got through to the next stage and asking me to ring their recruitment line regarding my application. I presumed that this was to book an interview, however, it turned out to be a telephone interview, but, at the time felt more like the lady I spoke to was just going over a few things from my application, and was then going to book me in for an interview at the store. However, this was not the case. Gave a good enough account of myself I thought, but received an email the next day saying that my application had been unsuccessful. I'm guessing the phone call was scored, but, because the two questions I was asked were on the application form I probably didn't sell myself as good as I could have due to not realising it was an interview, A rather strange experience all in all.
Online applicationon Farmfoods careers Portal and answering basic questions to confirm availability right to work and basic experience, brief screening call, and a face to face interview with the store manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult or rude customer.
Phone call interview asking about my experience and then given an interview date. Quick it was more like a conversation rather than an interview. Asked about myself and availability. Friendly interviewer.
No normal question asked as expected of an interview, He was speaking about his children so I do not know how they decided who gets the job. May have just been pure bias. I am not sure.
