Farmers Insurance Group IOS Software Developer interview questions

I had only a brief discussion with an Indian HR woman, but she was clearly uncomfortable talking with me (an American). I got the feeling that she is looking for a certain demographic of worker and that Farmer's doesn't care that discrimination based on age or nationality is illegal. I was under the impression they are desperate for iOS programmers but that people of my age or ethnicity should not apply.
