I have never ever seen such a unprofessional medical company before. They have a lot of young immature people working there, including the individual whom interviewed me. First off many medical facilities have panel interviews so that there would be no favoritism and everyone gets a say in who they'll select. Will I knew this was not going to go well once I've arrived for the interview. I arrived 15 min early and there was another individual before me. I chatted with her for a bit, and she waited 25 min just to be seen for 10 min interview. I assumed that my interview would be short as well, and sure enough it was. It was obvious that the lady who interviewed the nurses had no medical professional background/license but rather admin related, which shows how ridiculous it was that they selected her to interview the nurses. She literally read just about 5 questions off a piece of paper, it was absolutely ridiculous. Not only was she late on interviewing at least 2 other nurses including me, but her demeanor was unpleasant. She was unwelcoming and unprofessional and was very cold. When I asked her questions at the end of the interview she seemed annoyed which made me felt like that was not only a big mistake but disadvantage on my end. The company was in a need of at least 10+ nurses & were interviewing double probably triple that amount. It was obvious that they were just calling anyone who had a LVN license vs actually seeing and looking at everyone's qualifications and experiences. At the HR building where the interviews & testing were done, you can hear the HR assistant personnel making cold calls to LVN (asking them to apply). One of the nurses who was waiting for an interview told me that she herself was a newly licensed LVN & 1 mo experience and her sister barley took the NCLEX, had no medical background & was called in for a interview!? For a company that is in need of nurses & in a large area like Fresno, I would assume that they do a better job looking for the qualified candidates.
