The process was suspiciously unprofessional; their direct message approach was unusual and hard to differentiate from spam messages. Once on a video call, you could immediately tell that they were desperate to fill the position (despite lowering their rate for the exact same position months prior). This screamed red flag. Interviewer asked strange questions and essentially was trying to convince ME to take the job.
