I submitted my application, HR reached out for an interview, then came an interview with the Area Director, a live case (the only genuinely interesting part of the process), an interview with another director, and finally with the Area VP — which was supposed to be the final stage.
Throughout the entire process, there were SIGNIFICANT delays in receiving feedback.
For example, between the live case and the next interview, there were two weeks of complete silence, during which I had to repeatedly email both HR and the hiring manager. Only after my insistence would I get any kind of response.
I made it to the final stage, and two weeks later — after emailing the same people twice — I received a response from the hiring manager saying they had chosen another candidate.
And that was it. You make it to the final stage, prepare for every single round, rearrange your schedule, study the company thoroughly — and you don't receive even a minimally decent piece of feedback, especially considering you went all the way to the last stage. I deserved that much.
In my experience, this was a poorly handled process by everyone involved.
The process took 2 months.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
On the last stage, the VP opened my LinkedIn and asked questions about my career and experience so far. Completely insane method of interviewing someone.
I applied online. I interviewed at Factorial (Barcelona)
Interview
