Recruiter Call:screen call
Hiring Manager:
The interviewer joined the call approximately 7 minutes late without apologizing or acknowledging the delay.
He did not introduce himself.
He asked me to turn on my camera but did not turn on his own.
He requested that I share my screen to solve a problem he would present.
After explaining the problem, it became clear he was not paying attention to my screen or following what I was saying.
At the end, he gave me the opportunity to ask questions. I asked, "How do you handle and work on tech debt?"
His response: "The development team is in India, and we need someone to join the team to provide support for at least six months."
Wow! This response was completely unrelated to my question.
At that point, I knew I didn’t want to work with someone like that. I realized this within the first 15 seconds of the interview.
This was my last step in the process.
After a week, I still have not received any updates from the recruiter.
