Stage 1:
- Submit CV and Cover Letter through the company website
Stage 2:
- Offered to come into the office for an interview and group interview
- Face-to-face interview: this will be with your potential hiring manager - questions vary depending on your manager, unfortunately there is no set structure. I was asked questions solely based on past experiences identified from my CV and cover letter and competency based, however colleagues interviewed by different hiring managers (all for the same position) were asked more marketing based questions. It's not tricky at all though, no complex questions on the company's history is asked.
Key things to succeed in this interview is to discuss any past marketing experience, calling experience (B2C or B2B), knowledge of different marketing mediums, especially LinkedIn and direct email.
- Group-interview: in my opinion, this is pointless. After your interview with your potential manager you will participate in a group interview (all information should be provided on what to prepare for the interview). Unfortunately, you are not being assessed on this AT ALL - so i'd recommend spending more time focusing on your one on one interview.
Stage 3:
- If you are welcomed back for a second interview, this will be the final stage. Usually just an interview with your line manager (same person that interviewed you before), followed by a second interview with another member of the team.
TIPS:
- You are being assessed more so on your personality, and the company wants to make sure you will be a great fit to the company's culture. Be yourself, have fun and be confident.
