I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at F5 (Riyadh) in Jun 2024
Interview
The interview covered fundamental networking concepts, including the TCP/IP model, the OSI layer model, HTTP, and their practical applications. It also included questions about all the major F5 modules, their functions, and use cases. In addition, basic Linux commands were discussed to evaluate familiarity with common system administration and troubleshooting tasks.

Question 1
You've replaced the firewall in your network. Before replacing the firewall you double-checked all configurations against the existing firewall
to ensure they match exactly. However, when you perform the replacement no traffic is able to get out to the internet.
What would/could be the issue on your network?
The interview process was incredibly streamlined, and it took about two full weeks. It started with a recruiter screening, a hiring manager interview, a series of 3-4 short interviews with cross functional partners, and then a confirmation meeting (I wouldn't even call it an interview) with the hiring manager again.

Question 1
They asked me to walk through an example messaging and release I'd worked on previously.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at F5 in Apr 2026
Interview
Twice it had happened. F5 hr (first time) or third party consultants (second time) first take ctc and expected ctc over phone, then start scheduling interviews. After successfully clearing 3-4 rounds of discussions, HR will call and ask for expected ctc and try to offer less than our current ctc (not sure how they expect anyone can accept ctc less than their current ctc) and they say it is crossing our range for the role. Firstly they know their range for role and our ctc and expected ctc then why do they waste others time and energy. Second time I clearly told recruiter that schedule the discussions only if they are fine with expected ctc.
Recruit can reply to this review and can tell that my expectation is too high and unrealistic. For those people I had expected 8-10% over my current ctc.
