There were two phone screens with consultants, followed by a day-long in person interview with multiple staff members. The day-long interview included a presentation to in-person staff plus others on Teams and also had a Q and A.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Exponent (Phoenix, AZ)
Interview
The process typically starts with an informational, half-hour videoconference with 1 or 2 team members. These are usually members of the biomechanics group and not hiring managers (i.e., potential coworkers closer to the level you are applying for). This is an opportunity to see if you and Exponent are good fits for each other. The next step is another half-hour videoconference with a hiring manager. This will be a more rigorous probe of your background, experience, and interests. The final step is a formal interview at the Exponent office you are applying for. This involves about 6 one-on-one interviews with different members of team, each probing a different aspect of behavioral or technical competency. During the day, you will give a 45-minute technical presentation. Following the formal interview, the hiring manager may request transcripts and/or contact references. A hiring decision will be made within a few weeks after the interview.

Question 1
How do you structure a presentation? Tell me about the team dynamic in your former research group or workplace. Provide an example of an injury claim or incident - how would you evaluate the event?
Laid back interview process. Phone interviews and then a final in person full day interview with a presentation involved. People asked good questions and provided great answers to questions - make sure you come with questions to ask.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Exponent
Interview
One screening call where a consultant explains what Exponent does and determines if you are a good fit for the consulting life. A second screening call similar to the first. And an all day meeting with various one-on-one interviews (behavioral and possibly one scenario driven) with other consultants, including a presentation session in which you present on a topic of choice followed by a Q&A. You also talk to HR regarding more background questions.
