Both telephone interview and one to one interviews were quite relaxed and laid back like a friendly chat. The staff/management doing the interview were great and really easy to talk to, it was easy to share the information they wanted regarding competencies, skills, personality and conduct. The phone interview was about your previous experiences and how it is relevant to the role. The face to face interview in the centre asked about working with children and motivation for teaching as well some role play where your asked to tutor a child doing some basic maths questions and correct mistakes positively and guide a child to complete a question using their own familiar methods e.g. methods used in school. There was a little maths and English test as well which was quite easy.

There were three other people, we were first interviewed individually, they asked us questions about our CV's any experience etc. The there was a role play exercise, then finally they let you talk to the kids to see how well you handled tutoring.
