Interview
I recently had an interview with a company for a position that had a dual title, which made it unclear and confusing since it seemed like there were two distinct roles. Overall, the experience revealed an organization with a poor interviewing process and interviewers who appeared to be focused on a different role entirely.
The Talent Acquisition (TA) team canceled my third interview after offering a job before I had the chance to complete the interview process. This demonstrated a lack of respect for candidates' time. It seemed as though they either hired a friend or an over-fitted candidate. Given that the compensation was not industry standard, I suspect the role will reopen in the future.
Although the TA mentioned keeping me in mind for future roles, this exceedingly poor experience has left me disinclined to apply to this organization again. Based on their LinkedIn profile, it appears that the organization does not prioritize diversity or appreciate the unique skills and extensive experience that I possess.
