      Corporate Counsel Interview

      31 Jul 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group

      Interview

I had a phone screen with a recruiter. She was personable and seemed very interested in my experience. I was told to follow up with an email after the weekend for an update. I did so. Instead of replying to me, she must have rejected me in the system because a short time later I received an auto generated rejection email indicating that they would be moving forward with other candidates. My issue with the process is the same with just about everywhere. If you interview a candidate, do not reject them with an automated email. Candidates like myself spend a lot of time preparing and taking time away from the workday to participate in the interviews. It is my position that when human contact is made, candidates should receive a human response one way or another, not an auto generated email. From the little bit that I was able to learn, it seems like a great place to work. I have applied several times over the years; I think I am finally going to take the hint.
