I applied online. I interviewed at Exadel in Dec 2024
Interview
I had 2 technical rounds (with potential future ones depending on these initial 2). First one was puzzle solving (leetcode easy-to-mid) which was quite fun actually. The second one was textbook style exam - imagine "top 20 React questions" blogpost. Answers were supposed to closely match whatever was in that list. I believe later I was able to find exact blogpost with those questions but who knows, I might be wrong. Anyways it was a pretty loose connection and quite an unpleasant atmosphere during the call. I strongly believe general technical interviews should be a discussion not a blitz (except for a live coding and system design rounds).
Thank you for sharing your interview experience. We're glad you enjoyed the puzzle-solving round and appreciate your feedback about the React technical discussion.
While we maintain structured questions to ensure fair evaluation, we agree that technical interviews should be more discussion-based. We're reviewing our process to better balance assessment with interactive dialogue.
