I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Evotix (Glasgow, Scotland) in Jul 2023
Interview
Normally a three stage process, needed to do four due to availability of staff. Stage 1 - intro and job description + virtual screening, pleasant experience dealing with Software Engineering Manager. Stage 2 - complete a tech test, this would later become the basis and focal point for the stage 3 call with the Engineering Manager, Team Lead and Technical Architect, which again was a pleasant experience, nice people and engaging conversation on the tech test. Stage 4 - due to a scheduling conflict with the CTO's diary, this call was to talk accountability and the ethos of the company, the CTO is a driven individual who supports his staff, a very enthusiastic leader and again an enjoyable experience to talk to.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Evotix in Sept 2020
Interview
I responded to an advert I saw on LinkedIn posted by a recruiter that really grabbed my attention.
The interview process itself was an initial phone interview, followed by a take home technical test, and lastly a final interview to go through the technical test and also cover some more in depth technical questions.
Telephone interview with two dev leads organised by the recruiter. Discussed lots of technical questions including an obscure javascript syntax trivia question. No feedback following the interview, recruiter said he chased them but no word. Very poor.
