Perhaps the interviewer should familiarise himself with the difference between an interview and an interrogation.
Other words sprang to mind. Dismissive, high handed , abrasive and rude were certainly three I considered as I strained to maintain my best poker face throughout one of the most unpleasant interviews I have ever endured.
One of the reviews for Evolution mentions the appalling way in which some senior management members spike to staff. I'd read and dismissed this comment as pique or spite prior to the interview, but, retrospectively, I wish I hadn't.
