The other comments are 110% accurate. Standard "agency" model that wants someone to scope projects before they offshore all the work. Team has no engineering acumen, there's no real technical work being done, the team doesn't even have anyone in house that knows how to build something as simple as one of HubSpot's react cards, etc. The salary is markedly low and not even entry level. I always find agencies like this funny, because they have the standard "values" and "5-star work ethic" and will drill people into the ground on it and yet, ironically, none of these places can ever be bothered to actually do any of their own work. Interview wasn't anything to speak of. The response to the initial app was extensively delayed by over a month as well. In that time I had entered 2nd and 3rd stages elsewhere and picked up several new contracts. Between salary, work being done, what they're looking for, and pace there was no squeeze.
