Interview
I had a walk-in informational interview. A more formal interview was later scheduled. A second interview with a design presentation followed. I was given a floorplan, budget, and client to create a room design for within an hour and had to present to Design Center Manager and Design Project Manager. Once that was approved, a skype interview was scheduled with the Regional Manager. From there a formal job offer letter was written and drug and background screening required. Total process took several months to complete.

Client does not like specification, how do you overcome?
It is thorough and you need to complete a design assignment. If you know what you are doing, it’s very fun. It took over a month to get hired, so be patient.

It took a while to get the final confirmation of being hired. First interview leads to a second work session interview. Extra effort is likely to secure your spot in the company.
fairly easy. Completed first round. designers are expected to meet monthly goal of selling $60k - if selling cap not met (ex. you only sell $50K) the extra amount (ex. $10k not met) will carry on to the next month. met with two managers, both whom were professional and friendly.
