I applied through other source. I interviewed at Essential Energy (Australia Plains)
Interview
I had a genuinely positive interview experience. The process was well structured, professional, and transparent throughout. Communication was clear and timely, and each stage felt purposeful, with a strong focus on both capability and cultural alignment. I appreciated the opportunity to engage with knowledgeable leaders and gain a clear understanding of the role, expectations, and organisational direction.
A very straightforward interview process with relevant questions asked in the electrical power industry. Includes some very helpful and intuitive feedback from the interviewer and the relevant team lead. I am satisfied with the difficulty of the questions asked in the interview.

I applied through other source. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Essential Energy (Bulahdelah) in Sept 2025
Interview
After resume review i had to do a maths competency test. This was online in a group video chat where the watched you do it via Web cam.
I passed this and attended a practical assessment, ppe fitting and interview.
Asked about safety, multimeter, some basic electrical theory.
Prac assessment was following instructions and assembling something with the right tools + using a multimeter on a battery and then a fuse to see what worked and what didnt.
I was not given an offer, but was given feedback on why.
