Essence Data Strategy Manager interview questions

I sent application online. I had a 5 mins phone call with HR and an onsite interview with the hiring manager. The onsite interview was scheduled again due to diary sync problem of HR and hiring manager. This was indeed an unprofessional and disrespectful interview, and the company just wanted to steal business confidential info. I was asked sensitive business information of previous company e.g. data analytics tool, processes and approaches. However I felt it was unethical to put my previous company in an unfair position. I choose not to answer the question directly. After that, the hiring manager seemed to be annoyed and asking me funny questions e.g. were your previous roles internship? The position I was interviewing with was a senior role while I am a senior professions. So they thought an intern can do the senior role??
