I had a phone screening with a recruiter. The following steps would have been a performance task that supposedly would have been a live demo of my Excel skills, followed by an interview with someone else on the leadership team. I had to call the recruiter to receive updates on my application process since emails were being ignored. I was told it was because they wanted somebody with more dashboarding skills, despite the recruiter saying that I was in a good position since I knew Excel and could just learn dashboarding on the job.
