I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in May 2015
Interview
There was a phone interview where they asked pretty basic questions to get to know you and to see how you would generally solve a senario. Then you take to take an online skill assessment, which consisted of multiple parts testing your reasoning skills, math skills, programming skills, and how well you can learn new things. If you did well enough they will invite you to a campus interview where they will give you tours around campus and let you meet people with the same job as what you applied for. The actual interviews during this consisted of a programming and english assessment, and then a case study.

Filled out an online form at a college campus job fair, was contacted via email for a phone call, then a skills assessment, and then invited for an onsite interview
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Epic
Interview
The interview was fairly easy - asked about my education , why I wanted to work there, about myself, the usual. Was offered the technical interview a few hours after my phone interview. The technical interview was pretty difficult - a lot of math, pattern recognition, and faux code to analyze.

Interview
Applied directly at a career fair and was then asked to complete a technical exam online. The next step was a pretty informal phone screening, and then I was sent out for an in-person interview.
