Application
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Enterprise Automation (Irvine, CA) in Mar 2024
Interview
Decent. A lot of behavioral. Not too many technical questions. Cultural fit is a big part of what they are looking for. Based on my experience if you are not too technically sound but you are a cultural fit they will probably still hire you.

Interview
went through 4 rounds; 1st was a phone screening with a recruiter, 2nd was a half technical half non technical interview on a zoom call with an engineering lead; she asked where my interests in engineering lie and then worked through a short controls problem with me. She was very much helpful and walking me through the problem trying to gauge my problem solving process. 3rd interview was a "chronological interview" with an HR person and recruiter in person in which we went over my resume experience; what led me to pursue engineering, they chose a select few experiences on my resume to go in depth on and ask me about my experience. Be prepared to share a LOT, and talk about who you worked with how you worked with them etc. 4th round was a technical interview with an engineering lead; he gave me a short quiz and we went over my answers together afterwards. Then, we went over a controls problem similar to the 2nd interview in which we walked through a problem solving process together and how I would tackle each part of the solution. I gave this process a rating of "difficult" primarily because of its length; also while I thought I did reasonably well on the last interview (thought I had a strong chance of getting the job as I only had a couple mistakes) I still did not receive an offer. It's also worth noting I did quite well in the preceding interviews leading up to the final round; so be prepared to perform well on the final round as they are fairly unforgiving IMO. They get a thumbs down for having 4 interview rounds for an entry level position.

Question 1
see above; was asked which fields of engineering I'm interested in, asked to solve some fairly non technical controls problems, and a small amount of technical but simple quiz questions
