I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Emory University (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2023
Interview
The interview process was straight forth. I had two interviews where they asked standard questions about my resume, how I work with others, etc. I was offered a position on the team and accepted it tentatively based on HR's final decision. But was not given a salary and was told this would be decided by HR. HR requested 5 references and would want to hear from all of them. The team that was hiring me would also like to hear from 3 references/ a letter of recommendation. This all feels like a bit much for an entry to mid level position without at least a salary range given. Over a month later I am still waiting on a final response from HR and the team.

Interview
Telephone interview- Very short, random screening sort of questions Zoom call- a 2-step interview where I met the professor and then with a few other employees. The meeting went very well but felt a bit disorganized. The professor made me feel as if she was going to hire me, for eg- by asking me which team would I wanna join after starting. The team interview was fine. After that, they ghosted me. I followed up and got no response. After 2 months they rejected me.

Interview
It was fine. Got a call first, then scheduled a Zoom interview, with 2 interviews- one with the professor and then with the team members. Then I was ghosted and did not receive any response from the HR/Team
