I contacted Emerson through a headhunter and got a short notice within one week.
The interview was not well organized. I was told by the headhunter a recruiter from overseas would meet me. When the interview was started, I found he already left the country and a local recruiter met me, not HR, the direct manager of the position.
I applied for sourcing manager, but I was kept on being asked the question about the organization structure in my former companies, audit process, APQP, PPAP, not much relevant to sourcing responsibilities. When he saw I had worked for General Motor (GM), he asked me what kind of motor I purchased, how big it is. I ended the interview politely and left the meeting room.
