Situations like this can create a lot of uncertainty for candidates. It made me think about how risky it would have been if I had resigned based on their assurance — I could have ended up jobless. Companies should be more transparent and make firm decisions before scheduling interviews. Informing candidates that a position is “on hold” only after completing all rounds is not acceptable and can seriously affect someone’s career and mental peace. Because of this kind of uncertainty, I even dropped the idea of switching jobs altogether. Because of this experience, I have decided not to attend any future interviews with Embitel.
