I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Ellevest (New York, NY) in Mar 2022
Interview
Had a screening call and was told about the process. We decided it wasn't a good fit and chose not to move on. The next steps would have been to meet with a hiring manager and then do a case study.
Despite their mission to support women, their treatment of female candidates leaves much to be desired. The hiring process was unprofessional, marked by long periods of silence, and ultimately resulted in being ghosted. For a company that says they are committed to helping women thrive, this experience suggests a lack of alignment between their values and their actions. It’s disheartening to see such a gap between their mission and how they treat the women who engage with them professionally.

Question 1
How comfortable are you in a remote team environment?
It went really well with my first interview but there was no follow up even after I tried to follow up. The company has a great mission and message for women.
