Interview
Applied online and chatted with an initial recruiter, who was fantastic, then did 3 30-minute interviews with the team. Afterward, I was transitioned to a new recruiter, who indicated that the team wanted me for the role, and they then asked me for 5-7 references to be submitted electronically through their system. This whole process lasted one month, from the screening interview to the references. After submitting references, I heard nothing for a couple weeks, at which time I followed up, and they told me they had no updates. This exchange (following up and hearing no updates) lasted for two months, after which point I received a form email informing me that I was not hired for the role. It's quite literally the most unprofessional hiring process I've ever been through in my 13+ years of working, and it reads poorly for EA, because the team I chatted with was wonderful.

Interview
Following initial recruiter chat I had a 1:1 interview over zoom with role recruiting manager to discuss role requirements. Project with deadline was set prior to the interview process. Task discussed in brief during interview.
