Poor hiring process experience. Got to the second round which was the technical test that I successfully completed and passed (according to feedback). However, I was told that I wouldn't be moving forward in the process. I deemed the decision to be an arbitrary one that was unfair and without good reasoning. There was no consideration taken of the technical test I had just passed.
Based on my experience I wouldn't recommend EggPlant as a company to work for. If they treat potential candidates during the hiring process like how they did to me, that in my opinion is a reflection of the company culture which leaves much to be desired.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Have you worked on test automation during your career?
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Eggplant (London, England) in Jan 2018
Interview
First a phone with the recruiting agency ,then a Skype interview by the recruiting manager. The recruiter was fine , but the manager who spoke to me really had a bad attitude when asked about what the company does , may be like "why do you care since am not hiring you ?"...he was just rushing things just to get rid of time and end the interview , was asking questions which were not relevant to my experience.
