I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Edwards Lifesciences (Irvine, CA) in Mar 2015
Interview
Interviewed by Director of one of two departments that had been with the company for about five years and had been promoted twice since she had been there. They primarily worked on one of the types of products that Edwards. They seemed pretty open to asking questions and letting you ask questions as well. I was very outgoing with this interviewer and at the end of the interview, I thought I did very well. At that time I had a beard and I am not sure if they liked that. I have shaved it since and do not know if I will get the opportunity to interview with them again.

I applied online. I interviewed at Edwards Lifesciences
Interview
Appreciate that it's towards the end of the year but interviews are still going. The team has been pretty good about keeping me posted about any delays. Interviews thus far have been more behavioral.

Question 1
What emerging trends in social media do you think we should leverage to engage our audience?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Edwards Lifesciences
Interview
Lack of communication from the recruiter and the hiring manager. The hiring managed only gave me 30 minutes for the interview of which he talked for 15. So I only had a 15 minutes interview, no follow up. Once I followed up after a few weeks, the recruiter said they went with a different candidate. I asked for feedback, but no response again. It was a frustrating experience.

Question 1
What do you like to do? What are you most passionate about?
It took 3 months from the initial recruiter phone interview until completing a round of in-person interviews. Although I received good feedback, they wanted to interview more candidates. I could not wait additional months for their decision when I had other offers coming through.
All of the interviewers were personable and asked challenging questions about my past experience. One very senior interviewer was a bit rude when he cut me off mid sentence and told me I was wrong when I explained how my previous company innovated. I thought this was strange and unfounded, especially when my previous company has over 100 years of innovation and more than 100,000 patents. Maybe I didn't do justice in my explanation. That was my only negative experience.
