I didn't make it past the initial HR screening. The HR representative stated that they don't initially begin with a discussion of salary, but given my stated salary requirements, whether I'd be willing to work for $55k/year (I asked for the $80k to $100k in my application). I said that given the proposed salary, I don't think you're looking for someone with my skill set. We mutually agreed to end the phone screening.
