I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Education Endowment Foundation in Sept 2024
Interview
This short fixed-term role had a two-stage interview process, both stages had tasks attached to them. The first stage task was a presentation on EEF for which you had 2hrs to prepare, the second was reading a research paper and application and writing a summary for which you had a total of one hour. Each interview had a panel of three people. Total application and interview prep took over two days so be prepared to put the hours in.
The interviewers themselves were approachable and good at making you feel at ease. HR was supportive. The questions were a mix of scenarios and asking for examples of previous work.
For me, I found the organisation's approach to be academic, which I felt wasn't a good fit with my practical delivery skills and experience. So if you are going for this one then be prepared to discuss education research.
