I went for an onsite interview at Ebix in Noida. I waited for almost an hour before the HR arrived and then spent around three and half hours completing the design test.
While the office was quite large and impressive, what really stood out was the lack of basic human courtesy. No one even offered a glass of water, and as an outsider, I wasn’t allowed to access their cafeteria.
I believe the interview process reflects a company’s culture. Respect and small gestures of care go a long way in making candidates feel valued — regardless of whether they’re selected or not.
Just sharing this to remind hiring teams that kindness costs nothing, but it leaves a lasting impression.
