Information Technology Leadership Development Program Interview

      15 Dec 2016

      East Lansing, MI
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Eaton (East Lansing, MI) in Nov 2016

      Interview

I met them through a golf outing. The lady was incredibly nice. Within a week I had a first round interview at our school's campus. The interviewer made me relaxed, answered some initial questions, and was friendly the whole time. I believe the main reason I qualified to the next round was due to my interests in doing good which matches their motto. For the second interview, it took maybe a month later before I was asked to go to their Galesburg, MI office early in the morning. They offered hotel and rental of a car / flight, however, I wasn't very far so I drove that morning. They were kind enough to reimburse me for the mileage there and back. The process was with two different interviewers. To be honest, it just clicked with the first interviewer. They were very attentive to my experiences and asked great questions that were relevant to hiring a new team member. Within three days I got a phone call saying I was extended an offer and had two weeks to accept. Again, the lady seemed nice and excited that I was joining their team. You don't know where your going to be located until closer to your start date, but I would believe it is going to be at their Cleveland, Ohio facility. Salary is competitive as well as a signing bonus plus a relocation assistance costs. Highly recommend!
