1) Phone interview (~1 hour) with staff recruiter.
2) Asked to send relevant artifacts and complete a 6 hour interview task. Task was broad and asked for insights and plans to improve EHTP communications.
3) On-site interview (3.5 hours, estimated to be 2.5-3 hours) with ~8 staff members. First, a group of 4-6, then 2 from that group, followed by individual meetings with 3 senior staff members. Included a demonstration of Wordpress ability, a review of donor materials, and a communications task. Task: I was given 20-25 minutes to prep for a mock brainstorm with a senior staff member. I outlined my process and noted a few of my own ideas, but the experience felt more like the intention was to judge my ideas rather than generate ideas and plans through brainstorming together.
The entire process wasn't difficult per se, but I am rating as difficult due to the time involved, number of interviews, and tasks actually relevant to EHTP's current needs.
Overall the staff was friendly, and it was exciting to meet so many dedicated team members and get a feel for the culture.
