I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at EZ Texting
Interview
5 phases, recruiter, hiring manager, tech, system design, behavioral.
Salary quote much lower than industry and includes the yearly bonus which may not happen.
Most of the people were very pleasant.
The tech interview with the 2 people from Ukraine was horrible. Extremely rude with egos higher than your usual programmer. They made jokes about competing frameworks probably since they are using a legacy Angular 15, very immature. Poor communication and not able to communicate what they’d like even when asked for clarification. Wasn’t planning on accepting after that but went through for practice.
I’m thankful for the other people who were pleasant, but you couldn’t pay me enough to work with those two.

Question 1
You want to display a fetch error after the 3rd one arrives only and something having to do with timestamps. Create an iterator function. Using a very old version of whatever framework you use.
Had an initial 30 minute phone call with the recruiter. Had a follow up final round interview with two manager panel that lasted an hour. Was offered the job a day later.

Interview
Total of 8 interviews each 45 minutes to 1 hour long. I have the same sentiment as the other reviewers. The process is entirely too long.
Overall, 3 of the 8 people that I had interviewed with were pleasant. The Founder, the Engineering Manager, and one individual contributor.
The other 5 have made it easier for me to accept me being passed on...
Overall, the 3 people I interview with and the recruiter made this an okay experience.
FYI, I take responsibility for failing the interview because of a simple coding question I froze on and my reaction afterward.
