I applied online and after the phone interview was invited for a f2f interview. Not really a reliable company. I traveled from the other side of the country and when I was on the train they sent me an email they had to cancel the interview due to the meeting with the client. To be fair though they agreed to interview me on the same day when I explained my situation. When I got there I was informed that the interview was not for a position with ESG Recruitment even though I had applied for one with them but sort of a general chat to see where they could place me. The interview itself was more of a chat but the interviewer kept asking the question 'why recruitment?' after I had asked it, just rephrasing it differently. Rather had an impression that she wasn't listening. Then said that if I don't hear back from them within a week it means I was unsuccessful with all of her 150 clients. They never got back to me which makes me think that they claim of placing 90% of candidates they decide to work with is rather dubious as there is no way of verifying it. What' more the interview took place in the office's bar, so not really a friendly atmosphere and with lots of people around. Overall, I don't recommend especially if you have other things to do, a bit of a waste of time.
