The ESAF Small Finance Bank interview process typically unfolds over 4 rounds across 2 to 6 weeks, starting with an online aptitude test (covering English, math, and reasoning), followed by a group discussion, a case study or presentation, and then multiple interviews—first with HR and later with senior management or business heads. Some candidates also encounter a video-based “robotic” interview. For campus placements, ESAF adds a final round at its Head Office. Throughout each stage, assessors evaluate candidates on banking knowledge, communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work in rural outreach roles.
