I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at E&S Ring Management (Culver City, CA) in Aug 2025
Interview
The initial steps with the recruiter were smooth and professional, and I was genuinely excited about the role going into the panel stage. Unfortunately, the final interview felt very one-sided. One interviewer dominated the conversation, leaving little room for meaningful dialogue or participation from the other panelist. The tone shifted to being defensive and confrontational, with a focus on questioning my industry background rather than exploring my transferable skills or fit for the role. Overall, the process did not feel balanced or candidate-friendly.

Interview
Fairly awful experience, machine gun questions from a generic HR playbook. Asking "How do you work under pressure?" followed by "How well do you work with regular interruptions?" is quite a red flag--on top of allowing executives to work remotely, but not middle management (this position) because "the team works better when they are together." Meh.
