DDSB is pretty quick in responding to OT application. I was appointed within a week of applying. The interview is usually online now with 2 people mostly Principal or Vice Principal.

As an occasional teacher what are the strategies you use for classroom management?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Durham District School Board in Sept 2021
Interview
The two interviewers were great and helped prompt answers so you could go further in detail about your experiences and knowledge. It took about 20 minutes for the interview and they asked 6 questions. I would advise people who are applying to this position to go over questions that might be asked and prepare beforehand.

Interview
It was a little intense as there were 10 questions to be answered; But after I finished answering them, it was pretty nice! It was a long process but the principal and VP were very professional and kind. They waited until I finished answering to ask any cross-questions or tell me to give examples.
