I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Duke University (Durham, NC) in Mar 2016
Interview
The only interview question was "can you use Microsoft office system or not. There was nothing technical or behavioral. Nothing unexpected. The Professor's assistant was quite friendly and supportive. No one on one interview. The process was quick and straightforward. Wish interviewers are all like this.
Email the professor, have a conversation. Then they will usually ask about your relevant classes and determine if you are a good fit. Usually strong interest will get the job.

Interview
Had a great interview but have not heard back, so wondering if this is common. I have been waiting to hear back now for 30 days. I really loved the location.

Interview
It was a quick 60 minute chat with a behavioural interview followed by a technical round related to research writing. The interviewer was warm and friendly. It was conducted online via Zoom and we worked collaboratively on a google doc to look at my writing and research process.
