I applied online. I interviewed at Dozuki in Oct 2020
Interview
I was contacted via e-mail to set up an interview time (not via a link like Calendly which many companies use) This lead to a bit of needless back and forth just to set up a time.
The person interviewing me was 10-15 minutes late and offered a disingenuous apology.
When the actual interview began it was some very limited info about the company/position and standard questions about my background. The interviewer seem extremely relaxed as if he didn't care one bit about the conversation.
The conversation ended with the interviewer specifically stating 'I or someone from the team will be in touch pretty soon to set up a next interview and take the next step. Looking forward to it' Strongly implying that I had done well and almost promising I'd be moving on. Well this didn't happen and about a week later I received a bland unprofessional e-mail stating 'hey, we're going with some other people, best of luck'
The interview overall was pretty standard but the attitude and unprofessional nature of the person interviewing me are enough to ensure I never apply here again. Stay away from this company unless you enjoy having your time wasted and being talked to like someone's 'bro' instead of a professional candidate.
