Interview
The interviewer asked about my research experience in great technical details. We focused almost entirely on what I had done in graduate school, what problems I had, and what were my biggest achievement/impact etc. We talked very little about the company or what they were looking for. The purpose of the interview was to gather information about the candidate.

Tell me about a time you went above and beyond the call of duty to get something done.
Interview was ok. Gave 45 min presentation with approx 10 attendees and had personal interviews with approx 5 people. Don't remember much else unfortunately as this was a while ago.

Long but very useful. Met several stakeholders who gave a good overview of the process. At PhD level, you will have to present your work. Got a tour of the facility

What the greatest technical challenge and how did you go about solving it
On-site interview with multiple interviewers asking specific questions based on my resume and work related experience. Some behavioral type interview questions related to how I work with others and how I handle certain difficult situations
