I applied through other source. I interviewed at DoorDash
Difficult interview
Application
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DoorDash in Apr 2024
Interview
48h Case, 2x 30mins interview w teammate and functional coworker (made it to this stage) and saw job reposted few days before my in-person interview (red flag, likely not even in a hurry to hire or no real position opening up), did not get to have the final inter w Head of Region. DoorDash interview process is really mess up since they don't interview people collectively together to determine the best candidate, but they interview one at a time and repost the job even before my in-person interview round, so be prepared to get string along or rejected as soon as they think better candidate might come along or that the job is not even real.

Question 1
Made it to 2x 30mins in-person interviews. Asked me about what kind of new products they can do for the platforms (looked like wanted really specific answers - looked to me now to be a red flag/trying to get tactics from you without hiring (job was even reposted on Linkedin few days before I got into the in-person interview).
DO NOT INTERVIEW, especially if a recruiter asks you to apply over LinkedIn. Free labor scam they should be reported to a bureau. Asks you to do a ridiculous amount of work analyzing a customer level data file, demands it in 2 days even if you're employed just to reject. Someone should sue -- how is this legal? For interview difficulty where's the option for stupid? SAVE YOUR TIME
Started with Phone screen that was low key, typical walk me through your resume questions. Then SQL take home that was also straight forward. Then 2 interview rounds each consisting of 2 interviews

Question 1
Make strategic recommendations based on the data set
Interview process included 3 rounds, including a recruiter screen, followed by a pretty time consuming take home assignment that was due within 2 days.
After that I had the 2nd round with the manager for the role and another senior team member. Did not move to final round, but it would have included 2 more interviews with a senior leader plus a cross functional partner. Overall it was a meh experience - they did not provide any feedback due to “company policy”
