      Customer Support Consultant Interview

      2 Dec 2015
      Anonymous employee
      American Fork, UT
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Domo (American Fork, UT) in Nov 2015

      Interview

I had to submit an online interview. They quizzed me on my knowledge of SQL with 10 multiple choice questions that I had 1 minute each to answer. I was then asked 3 interview questions that I had to take a video of myself answering and I was given 5 minutes per question to answer them. Once I passed that portion of the interview process, they had me come down to their office to meet with 5 different people for about 20 minutes each. I met with the Training Leads for the team I would be joining, the Manager of the team, the Director of the team, and the Director of another department. I was also given a tour of the campus and because my interview was during lunch time, they fed me lunch. Then the Recruiter met with me after the series of interviews to see if I had any questions and how I felt the interviews went. They then explained all of the company benefits and perks and gave me a huge booklet (around 50 pages) to take home going over all of that information. This was all before I was offered the job.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Your goal is to transport as many bananas as possible to town. The town is 1,000 miles away. You have 1 camel and he can carry 1,000 bananas. The camel will need to eat 1 banana for every mile that you travel. How do you get the most bananas to the town? There is no right or wrong answer.
