I applied for a shift lead position, but when I went in to the store, I was told that the stores in my area weren't able to take on that position, because they were too understaffed. I was told that I could have the ASM position, and they essentially just read me through what an average week would be like. Working alone from 8AM-12AM (and expected to unload stock during that time) two days a week, then closing (not alone) two other times a week, and a 'varied' shift at least one other day. There was no actual interviewing, as they essentially just asked if I'd be willing to do it, told me there would be only three other employees working at the store, and then said they'd email me an offer. I didn't accept, as they also informed me that the pay would be $16/hr - not nearly enough for all the described stress.
