The interview process was long after giving the online coding test , received result after a month . The interview was for engineering team but rounds were taken by researcher with 2 years of experience taking interview for 8 years of experience position and with 0 idea about system design and was unable to navigate as to what he wanted from the round .In short the rounds were waste of time because one the senior showed a positive signal for hiring but even after that got a reject.

Easy interview
Application
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Dolby (North Sydney) in Nov 2012
Interview
I applied online. I was quickly contacted by their internal recruiter, and he arranged for a phone interview. The phone interview went very well, and Dolby arranged to fly me to their offices.
I had several technical interviews with the hiring team leader present with several programmers in succession. The questions weren't particularly good, ranging from inane technical minutae, to high level design with outdated assumptions regarding OOP (as one typically sees in C++ programmers). There weren't sufficient assumptions given in many questions to commit confidently to any particular solution and I made this clear. It felt like many questions were intended to "trick" me into making a classic mistake.
Insufficient information was given regarding the role or the code base. I began to get the feeling the culture and products were somewhat derelict and decaying. My finally meeting with lady in HR was overly confronting and while she meant well I had no intention of working in those conditions.
I didn't express interest in the job afterwards, and eventually their recruiter politely confirmed that they had no desire to follow up either.

Question 1
The initial question about path manipulation was both confusingly broad, and too low-level.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Dolby (Kraków) in Feb 2021
Interview
I was interviewed for position in Wroclaw, Poland.
The process consisted of 4 steps and took about 3 weeks:
1. 15 min call with recruiter from LinkedIn
2. 30 min call with Recruiting Manager EMEA
3. 1 hour tech. interview with 2 engineers from French branch
4. 1 hour tech. interview with engineering manager
5. 1 hour tech. interview with two C++ engineers from Poland
So, overall ~4 hours of time invested to the process.
No live coding in tech. interviews. The most technical part was (3) with all questions around technologies used during my career.
Interview with Engineering Manager was partially technical, partially testing leadership skills and cultural fit. The last interview was 100% cultural fit interview.
Unfortunately, after 2 or 3 weeks passed after the last interview, the guys did not bothered themselves with the feedback.
