The first interview was with HR to make sure the selection of the right candidate as per the job description, and the second interview was technical with the Engineering manager, where she opened the code base and asked to rewrite by following all good coding practices.
Initial screening with HR, 1st round with a sr engineer about the resume and past job experience. Following up with 2 more technical rounds with the team members, which is 1 coding question and 1 system design question
The interview process was less technical than anticipated and more focused on the interviewee as a person which i personally much preferred there was a heavy focus less on what you know but what are you willing to learn and if you are ambitious
