      Anonymous Interview

      Anonymous employee
      Seattle, WA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Docusign (Seattle, WA) in May 2015

      Interview

4 step process: 1) Applied online 2) Phone screen with recruiter 3) Phone screen with hiring manager 4) In-person Interview in office with 4-5 team members (30 minutes intervals) Once you pass all of these, you will be asked to verbally accept your offer. Upon verbal acceptance, a reference is required from four sources (at least two of these must be a former manager). The overall process was so enjoyable! My recruiter was prompt in her responses and everyone I spoke with at DocuSign was so excited about the organization. Their energy was definitely contagious. I cant wait for what i have no doubt will be a bright future with this company!

      Interview

I interviewed in March 2018. I messaged the hiring manager on LinkedIn and recruiter emailed me for first phone screening with her. Recruiter was very nice. She talked to me for 15-20 mins and explained me everything including the role, procedure of an interview in DocuSign and gave a chance to me for asking questions to her. At the same day, she emailed me for scheduling technical phone interview. I scheduled the interview after a week. The technical interview was fully based on coding question. He shared a google doc to write the code. He was not at all interested in interviewing me. In addition, he didn't explain me the coding question properly. He confused me so much. He first told me to write a code to find if methods has cycles or not like void a() { b();} void b() {a();} .Then he told me that it's a graph not methods. These are not methods but nodes like A-> B, B->A. Basically, he wanted a code to find if graph has cycle or not. He could have directly asked me this question but he twisted it and made it hard to understand. He could have prepared question properly before interview so that candidate can easily understand it. But he didnt have the question with a proper format. I never expected this from DocuSign. I have given coding interviews and interviewers always give questions with all the details. Next day, I got an email that the hiring team is moving forward with another candidate! It was really bad experience!
